BRWR took part in Bromsgrove’s annual Mediaeval Street Market on Saturday 24th June with a stall and activities. This year we asked visitors to make bunting representing Refugee Week’s theme “Different Pasts, Shared Future”.
We were delighted with the results. Young and old took part and BRWR committee member Claire Davies will now be adding their artworks to the bunting begun at The Bandstand Event in Redditch on St Stephen’s Green.
BRWR provided displays during Refugee Week in both town centre libraries featuring our local work, books about refugees available for loan and Refugee Week materials.
