‘Licensed to Rhyme Take Over’

Presented by and featuring former Birmingham poet laureate Spoz and Tom McCann.
The event will highlight the first public performance of the Redditch Borough Poem, a community poetry project to which many different individuals and groups have contributed. The idea is that lots of different people with a connection to Redditch each write one line of a poem celebrating the Borough and exploring what it means to live here, producing a unique model of what Redditch might look like if it was a poem.
There will also be an open mic, giving writers in Redditch (and beyond) a chance to share their own work in a warm and welcoming environment.
